Weapon balancing in Gears of War 3
I think the Lancer / Retro-Lancer / Hammerburst and sawed-off shotgun needs some changes. First: Lancer - Why the hell does the Lancer treat the same amount of damage as Hammerburst? Seriously what the hell? Sure, it has a slightly shorter range, but that does not make a hell of a difference. Not only that, but from the Lancer has a chainsaw bayonet, which has a huge advantage over the Hammerburst. Tone down some of the damage or give it more kick. Second: Retro-Lancer. This weapon fires is ridiculous. Not only has a higher damage output to Hammerburst, but also has a bayonet to increase the amount of damage caused by melee attacks. This weapon is incredibly overwhelmed right now and seriously needs to tone down.

The Lancer does not have the same damage as the Hammerburst (bullet bullet), please stop doing things.

Gears are not really a game of CQC. It is based on all ranges. The Lancer is weak compared with the range hammy best. Personally I am shooting a KD 2.9 with a 8.5 in WL TDM most people I face clean the floor with me, why? Gears of War 2, because the vets try to Gnashers me from miles away or standing outside with the hammy. For 3 speed of the mark in a barrier trying to medium range Lancer god and we must remain so. Actually require tactical gear now instead of everyone running with their gnashers.

On the subject, the ability to control Hammerburst comes back and stay accurate. It has even less recoil than Gears of War 2 and now you can look down look for accuracy. The Hammerburst, if anything, is better than Gears of War 2.

Keep your distance from people with retro and you'll be fine. I do not know what you mean by the hammerburst and Lancer does the same damage. If two people, one with a hammerburst and one with the lancer, a bullet fired at each other I'm pretty sure that would have done more harm hammerburst with one shot.

The Lancer is the weakest of the three rifles, their base damage is 55, while the HB has a base damage of 76 and retro has a base damage of 90. In fact, both retro and Hammerburst are more powerful in terms of base damage than the Lancer is reloaded with its assets, resulting in damage leaving a bundle of up to 72. This means that people are saying in the Lancer lower than 5 pictures, is impossible. The characters have 600 HP in multiplayer mode, which takes about 12 shots in the production of base damage Lancers to put someone if you do not hit your head, and that means that even with an asset that is still going to take about 8 or 9 shots to bring someone if you do not hit on the head. Why are you standing in the open so much? Not only that, but the Lancers lost power and accuracy at distances. If you are losing at a distance and a user Lancer HB when you have the means that are not doing a good job with the HB. And you are exposing too much. That does not mean the weapon is OP which means that their skills are scarce.

I think the Lancer has some ammo too and that Retro should have at least one more bullet for someone.

From my point of view of someone who complains about the balance of the weapons because they are getting face rolled on the weapon you are complaining. There is no gun in this game is more power. Each weapon has its own advantages in different situations, so do not go to the forums to say a gun is dominated, when the problem is not the weapon that is the way it is approaching the person using the weapon. Changing its tactic of people does not expect the game to suit your skills.
