Prompting continously for ID and Password in ms out look 2007
Hi I have system loaded with windows vista but i want to use MS outlook 2007 for my email account. I have set its configuration with help of web site support. I had configure the account with my email aaddress and i received some emails. But the main problem is when I open outlook window it prompt for a password again and again till close a main window. But now outlook do load my mails. Can any one help me plz. I am frustrated from last 5 days.

Follow this instruction to set your email account.

MS outlook 2007
Open Outlook 2007.
Goes to the main window.
Click tools from menu.
Select Account Settings option from the tools menu.
Now click Email Tab and click New.
Click Add new e mail account an d click next.
Click Internet E-mail then Next.
Enter your name in the name field.
Enter your email address in E-mail Address field.
Select imap for account type.
Enter imap.duke.edu. in Incoming mail server field
Enter smtp.duke.edu. in Outgoing mail server field
Enter your Duke NetID. in User Name field

You have to change from domain name.com setup page. you have to replace the 143 to 993 or 995 from the Imap port number.I advice you to "configure SSL" you had changed the sending port to 465, but there is no need to change the receiving port. Try is configuration I think this will help you.

Hi, uninstall the version of MS Office 2007, first save you documents other drive, and then restart the computer and download 2010 beta version Ms Office and install this version. Try to configure MS Outlook with same settings. Then also you facing the same problem. Then ask me question again and next time I will definitely I give the solution of this problem. Otherwise you contact your ISP to configure your MS Outlook settings according to email account.

If you you having anti virus on your system then please uninstall that anti virus software. And then again reinstall the anti virus and scan the system and after that restart the system. Then Update your anti virus without installing MS Outlook. Now go to control panel and then mail applet to configure the setting of MS Outlook. Please do not copy the profile use setting instructions and set this account as a default. Now run your to download your email.
