How to prevent internet explorer for printing url on every page?
Hey, I am having problem which is small but it is irritating. I am using the internet explorer for my daily net use. The web pages always having the link on them which is of no use. So can any one tell me the method to stop printing the URL on the web page. Because in my opinion it is waste of the space when you have to write so much about some article. So help regarding the same. Thanks in advance.

Just go to the page setup and there you can see the header and the footer section which is used for the specifying the printed content. Now if you want to remove the URL form the header then delete the text from the header box and if you want to remove the same from the footer the do the same for the Footer. Now the page will be the URL free. So enjoy the URL free web page. Thanks

You can also do the same for the Mozilla Firefox and it will remove the URL printing facility from the web page. So do the following to get rid of the same. Hopefully it will work for you if you are using the Firefox as your browser.
Go to the File
And click on the Page Setup
A window will open, select the Margins & Header/Footer tab
Now set the drop-downs to blank.
And its done now click on the OK to finish it.

You can also do the above in different way. For that you just have to open the print preview and look for the button which is specified as the Turn headers and footers on or off. And then click on it to off the same. After that you can not see the URL on your page and it will no longer irritate you. This is the easy way to do so. So use it and enjoy it. Thank you

Hey if you have made the change in the internet explorer and now you want the same to work again then you have to copy the following in the Header and footer text box for different processing. Just follow it
Window Title- &w
Page URL- &u
Date in short format- &d
Date in long format- &D
Time in regular format as shown on the clock- &t
Time in 24-hour format- &T
Current page number- &p
Total number of pages- &P
right align the next text- &b
If you surround the text in &b on either side, it will center the text- &b[TEXT]&b
A single ampersand- &&
