It seems like Torpedo and Missile missing behavior are supposed to be swapped in Naval War Arctic Circle
I am a total gamer and gaming is part of my life. i just had a glance of this game and then when i found interest i purchased and playing this game was really good , I was first of all used by a Torpedo and some of the Missiles which we can’t find in most common games up to date. so it was great targeting them as they all targeted the enemy underwater as well above the surfaces. So the Torpedo was of great kind, but in think the developers are bit confused with the logic of this two weapons and might have altered them . as they tend to behave in an abnormal way when they have missed their target, so while playing this game , missiles are capable of targeting the location even after they have missed their targets and they tend to target the location by performing all the possible capability they have. But in the case of the torpedos, they disappear after missing their targets. So don’t you think it has an reverse action. Don’t you think that it should be altered. So if this is the case,I think the developer has no idea regarding the weapon section and it is completely fool and I dream how they made this as a war game. I think they should check the property of the torpedoes .

Yes, you are saying it correct. I am not knowing much regarding the weapon section, but this is a common idea that the torpedoes are designed in such a manner that they into a search pattern and reattack or else acquire a new target and this is definitely not the case here. Usually I think they are assuming regarding the plane missiles and applied this on both. But then if the behavior alters what’s the use of an torpedoe , as there will be no difference in the weapon style to be launched. It has been seen here that the missiles perform all the action while they rotate 180 degrees and then chasing down the boggie to hit him in the rear.

I have played through this game and to discuss regarding the torpedoes , it appears that they are intended in the game for a devastating attack . so according to me, the most destructive attack against surface combatants is a torpedo attack from a submarine. There is slight active defense accessible against torpedoes, forcing the opponent target to run away at utmost speed, breaking formation consistency. Torpedoes are the most influential armaments in the game if you can get within range. In addition, a single submarine can take out an complete carrier force if it directs to steal by the screening ships along with helicopters. In addition , I also need to say that the use of the torpedoes in this game is that they are one of the primary weapons of submarines, and productively the only weapon against subs. current torpedoes have a far greater range along with speed, and it is but obvious the main source of automatic targeting, compared to their World War II forebears. In addition, there is little effective defense, except running away at utmost speed.
So I think they have planned according to their statistics and regarding their opinion, Heavyweight torpedoes are torpedoes which are carried by submarines, for use mainly against surface targets. They have destructive explosive power Many of them can also aim submarines. And the Lightweight torpedoes are anti-submarine weapons, which are launched from surface vessels or (most often) aircraft. In addition, they have introduced an Anti-submarine rockets (AsRoc) which are ship-based weapons that combine a ballistic missile furthermore a torpedo, and are used to target submarines. in fact, the rocket transfers a torpedo within range of the submarine, and then the lightweight torpedo aims the submarines. So according to their gameplan we all need to follow.

You need to look in this topic, as according to them they have intended some weapons to support "bearing only" launch. And after selecting a specific weapon, from the drop-down list or in the main panel, and if it tends to appear that the bearing only button is active, you are able to right click on the map to where you wish for the missile or else torpedo to move. The weapon will acquire targets by itself if any are detected. It will not appoint your own units .
